The small coastal town of Moraira is part of Teulada municipality and is located on the coastal road from Calpe and near Benissa. With a few hotels and few cheap package holidays, it is wonderfully quiet, with calm streets and with a relatively new marina. The town has 2 blue flag sand beaches, one next to the centre, and a second along the coastal road to El Portet which is ideal for swimming and water sports. Moraira has an average of 320 sunny days a year, making it a year-round destination, with its beautiful marina, many shops and restaurants.
